It's true that it is much easier to paint a portrait of someone you do not know. I attempted to paint Annie Clark from St. Vincent and it did not turn out so well. Ugh so disappointed in that painting. Anyways this is a watercolor painting I did of this girl I saw on tumblr. Some people may recognize her since her photo had plenty of notes.
